Greetings all! Thank you so much for such in-depth responses. I'll write more later as I'm writing this at work, but wanted to posit that "giving virtue" does not imply having dignity. What does it mean to give virtue from one planet to another? Greeting forum members, I'm working on a complex chart on theft, and rereading Lillys chapter on it, i see he commonly referrs to one planet giving virtue to another (which would indicate that the theft did occor, if L1 for e.g gave virtue to L7 or significator of the thief. Can anyone explain what ... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: What does it mean to give virtue from one planet to another? Replies: 20 Views: 9710 Sun Nov 13, 2011 2:53 am Jump to post
Hi Andrew, is there an update to this chart yet? i think it has many mixed significators and it stroke me how similar it is to something I just recently ran for myself (but this one seems more positive than mine). However, Saturn in the first house (even dignified) does not promise a fast resolution... Hi Tanit and all, It is good to be back on the forum! I consider nodes in Horary, but mostly by their placement (NN more beneficial, SN less beneficial), if I see a moon applying by trine to NN for e.g. I'd consider at a beneficial factor. I have not read much on the nodes in horary, but in my exper... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: At the Bending in Horary Replies: 16 Views: 13949 Fri Oct 28, 2011 1:09 am Jump to post
Thank you Tara and Tanit! Your answers are as usual quite helpful. I'm comparing schools for my children, so I'd have to reserve 5th H for their significator, and 3rd from the 5th for the potential school. The chart I get has complex indications, Mercury is debilitated but he is L5 and L1, THe moon ... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: 3rd house for preschools and early education? Thank you everyone for your responses! It really helps to hear other point of views. A small addition: the surgery is not necessary, it is recommended, and has a small risk of making the vision in the querent's son eye get even worse. Both of them are afraid that it may happen! But my friend, respon... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Is eye surgery needed? Replies: 5 Views: 3876 Mon Jan 10, 2011 7:00 am Jump to post
Is eye surgery needed? Greetings astrologers; A friend has asked me if surgery is necessary and beneficial for her teenage son. He was born with an eye defect, so one of his eyes has almost no vision (right eye) and the other one had normal vision until recently. Now the left (good) eye started to lose vision and the doct... Hi Waybread! Thank you so much for your elaborate answers. I have already conducted my interviews (they were one hour long each, so there is a lot of material in each) and as I'm analyzing the data, I started to wonder, if the informal interview will bear similar results. So far the themes I find in... Forum: Philosophy & Science Topic: Pilot study: how do you find meaning with astrology? Replies: 3 Views: 7076 Fri Dec 31, 2010 1:08 am Jump to post
My teacher used to explain the difference (and that's in accord with traditional astrology and based on Morin's method) based on the accidental strength of the planet. So in Hitler's case it the debilitated Saturn is ominous as it is in the 10H, and in square aspect with debilitated Mars in his 7H, ...
