by Tanit3333 It makes me nervous to read charts with confused information (the charts also have different questions attached to them), but assuming the time is correct, the Moon opposite the querent shows internal struggle, according to Lilly, meaning it is hard to leave or stay and so you go back and forth on it and agonize and cannot make up your mind. When I have this in a chart, a chart is rarely helpful because I am too undecided to do anything to change the situation. Mercury is conjunct Algol, but it is still at a later degree and will change signs to its dignity and Bonatti would say by being within 5 degrees of Gemini it takes on neither Taurus nor Gemini energies entirely, but a bit of both. Likewise the 11th ruler, which likely shows the finances of the job, is Moon in fall but Moon will change to Sagittarius - a slightly better sign - signs of Jupiter are beneficial in general for the Moon. Venus is also in that house, leaving a malefic and applying to trine Jupiter, so hopefully things will improve for the company. It seems to indicate the worst is over. The Sun in the 10th is also in a sign of Mercury, which tends to be a beneficial influence and Mars seems significant for some reason and could indicate some sort of leader that offers a beneficial service (even though Mars is not always beneficial, it is trining the Sun from the 6th and Mercury will aspect it after the Moon and is within orb of it). Mars could also represent another opportunity. It is conjunct the SN and below the earth in the day and cadent, rendering it more positive. The Moon is antiscia Mars and Firmicus does warn of trouble with that: http://www.skyscript.co.uk/antiscia.html . The aspect is separating, technically, though, which could still point towards moving away from difficulty. One should expect to see difficult influences if you are going through a tough time, but you want those aspects to be separating. I am unsure of what Mars is here - it could be a person, job or maybe even the new "system" you mentioned, or multiple symbolic factors. That is something that is easier to make sense of on your end in knowing your situation relative to the symbolism. Mercury conjunct Algol and Moon in fall does seem to suggest not being at your best in the role right now. All of this seems to point towards improvement in the situation but Mars can show a separation (that is something he rules in traditional astrology - a break or termination) and Mercury also trines Mars after the sign change, which in addition to changing signs, could make one wonder about leaving the job. Being fired is generally shown much more obviously, in my experience of looking at charts. I have never been fired but I have read charts of people who have been or almost have been, and their significator is usually in hot water with Mars and/or Saturn, such as a hard aspect or besiegment. Combustion can sometimes add to that. Being fired is a horrible thing and so it is often shown that way in a chart. Being conjunct Algol is the most alarming thing here but I am not sure that is enough to suggest being let go - it seems to describe what you are going through now. Mercury to Mars is 7 degrees in fixed signs and cadent houses could even be years you leave, but the earlier degree ascendant and early MC show that the job is new and much is uncertain at this point. The way I feel about it -the late degree Moon and Mercury might not point to a change in the job but a change in the current situation. Quote Thu May 31, 2018 8:43 am
by Rookie Thanks Tanit, What you are projecting makes sense given my current situation. Obviously when your new at a job there is a learning curve and sometimes a lot of stress trying to get up to speed and given the state of this business, the stress is even greater. I do expect things to improve, but my question came while I was wondering if I could get up to speed fast enough and given the changes in systems, I will need to go through more learning and the questions would continue in my head. It is good to read in your response that firings are much more clearly depicted in charts, and that you don't see that in mine. Reassuring for sure Quote Thu May 31, 2018 4:42 pm
by Part of Fortune Yes, thanks Tanit for your positive reading! I have a friend who went through a tremendously stressful period at his work place and I identified Rookie with that friend (since then, my friend is doing much better). Upon reading Rookie's job situation, mine came out dark so I was quite concerned -- but this new reading by Tanit is a relief for Rookie and myself as well. Felipe, when he read one of my charts a while ago , Algol conjunction can be seen as "querent is overreacting to the situation". Could this be another interpretation of this chart? 16 by Tanit3333 Often Algol is described as making the planet lose its head, which can be interpreted in different ways. That is a very true possibility of an interpretation for Mercury conjunct Algol. I think it depends on the planet involved, such as Mars conjunct Algol could show someone reacting violently or overly aggressive to a situation and Venus conjunct Algol could show someone who uses sexual manipulation. Mercury conjunct Algol could be verbally abusive, misuse information, but it could also misinterpret information or even over-react. Quote Thu May 31, 2018 11:30 pm
by Rookie Thanks everyone for the further elaboration. I could totally see me overreacting given the high visibility, stressful position I am in. As time goes on and I get better at my job, the situation will improve, but in the current environment, I am overly sensitive to all criticism, constructive or otherwise. 20 by Rookie I did not mean to title it "When will I find a job" but I now understand why Tanitt was confused. The real question was always how long will I work here. I must have pulled up an old chart in error. Of course I will keep details updated Quote Mon Jun 04, 2018 4:10 pm

The funny thing is, Rookie, look up the date and time of the second chart – it doesn’t seems to be an old chart. (I’m not trying to embarrass you, I’m pointing out it is funny the way things are developing to your advantage.) Quote Mon Jun 04, 2018 6:43 pm
by Rookie Your not embarrassing me. I had previously asked the When will I get a job back in Feb and I think when I pulled the chart to fix the date and time it must have pre-populated with the old question. I would be happy with either the job getting better OR a new career Quote Mon Jun 04, 2018 7:00 pm
by Rookie So the invite I received for an interview fell through, they never contacted me again, however, a position that I was interviewing for last summer before the person that left returned is now open again. I was well on my way for it and I would expect that the process will begin where it left off. Someone said a few months, could it be? Quote Fri Jun 15, 2018 7:09 pm
by Tanit3333 If it were me, I would ask about the other job and see if it will make you happier. I am not asking you to do that or to share it here but it is just something that you might consider (although make extra sure that the time and date are correct). You don't want to go from one bad situation to another. If Mars here is representing this new opportunity, it may not be the best job to take and you might want to think about other options. The fact that you applied there before might explain the separating antiscia aspect. Quote Fri Jun 15, 2018 11:40 pm
