wikipedia gives a pretty good western centric overview of this treaty... the dynamics on the international world stage have a lot of connections to this treaty and where we are at presently with regard what is a fairly dark topic that most people would prefer not to want to consider..

below is a tropical zodiac chart for the signing of the agreement between usa and russia ( was ussr in 1987..



the present mars-pluto opposition in transit is also noted in this chart with the conjunction of mars-pluto, with mars ruling the ascendant from the 8th sign... mars is 45 the saturn/uranus conjunction in this chart.. pluto is very close to an exact 45 to uranus in this chart as well, signifying the tension associated with these 2 planets in hard aspect to one another.. jupiter is conjunct the ascendant suggesting something positive - which it was at the time) and also there is a type of mutual exchange between jupiter and sun in this chart, with sun in the 9th and speaking to the idea of something positive on the international front - a type of treaty to safeguard the future essentially..

there are a number of connections between the event ( transit) chart to the initial signing of this treaty... perhaps the transit of jupiter retro in the area of the natal inf suns position is the first observation to make.. the close square of transit sun to inf mars is also significant.. perhaps the close transit of mars to a trine to jupiter rising is also important too.. transit uranus in opposition to the mars/pluto conjunction in the inf is also at work here.. transit pluto in a fairly close square to jupiter/ascendant rising of the inf treaty is also important..

one of the issues that russia continues to raise is mentioned in the wikipedia link at top - "Starting from 2026, Typhon missile launcher with SM-6, Tomahawk and longer range hypersonic weapons of the United States will be deployed to Germany. This marks the return of the Tomahawk cruise missile to German territory."

where are we at with all this now?? as it happens the eclipse cycle for the following year is in close proximity to the nodal axis in the chart for the signing of the inf treaty - dec 8th, 1987... 2025 will mark approx 38 years - or 2 nodal axis cycles from year 1987... i suspect the upcoming eclipse data will highlight the importance of getting back on track with this treaty - if it is possible.. i have yet to look at the eclipse data for the coming year..
