it is tricky getting information about what is happening in georgia... do a search and see how the state of georgia comes up instead! if anyone knows of a news media outlet for georgia the country, please let me know..

georgia has gone thru an interesting set of circumstances since its independence from the ussr in the 1990 time frame... it borders russia, turkey, armenia, and iran and also has access to the black sea..

i read this article a few days ago and thought it would be interesting to examine the charts listed in nic campions book for this unique country..

below one of 2 charts in nics book.. this one is for noon which is said to be close to the actual time on april 9th, 1991 in the capital - tibilisi.. the other one is for 1918, so i have opted for this one as a reflection of the most current history.. the chart is in sidereal, krisnamurti ayanamsa..



it is a 10th house profection this year - pisces.... this puts the muntha - what indian astrology emphasizes, in the 5th house of the solar return for 2024... both of these factors are considered favourable for the year according to charaks work and books which i have read.. i am guessing he captures some of the spirit of indian astrology and i continue to work with these ideas to see how valid they are and whether i can incorporate them in my own astrological understanding.. also, this approach seems to reflect the work of the arabic astrologers that i have read and continue to read about..

below is the 2024 solar return for georgia..


the chart is very interesting as it is very close to the exact eclipse of the moon - lunar eclipse.. and the moon rules the 9th house of foreign relations... at the same time the ruler of the scorpio ascendant is mars in a close conjunction to saturn on the ic.. the 1st and 4th house rulers conjunct is considered a raja yoga in indian astrology which is considered positive.. however eclipse charts are often viewed ominously in astrology! i don't know that i share this perspective and tend to view the north node or rahu as more favourable then not... that said, it will be interesting to see how georgia fairs this year as it adopts an approach which is not in sync with the usa or europes overall desires... that is how i read it anyway... i don't know that they are moving closer to russia, but they would like to adopt more transparency in foreign interventionist dynamics, whether that is the support of ngos or money that doesn't want to be sourced to the origins of the money... read the link to scott ritter up above if you want to know about my thoughts on this.. but this is why it is interesting to me as well..

generally the 6th sign or the natal chart rising in the solar return isn't considered favourable and that is what scorpio rising is for a natal gemini rising chart... we'll see how it goes and perhaps we can look back with more clarity on how relevant the 2024 solar return with lunar eclipse just is, or how important the profection year being a 10th house one is as well...

here is a biwheel of georgia 1991 chart on the inside and 2024 solar return on the outside... we can see pluto transits the 7th house ( 8th house using whole sign houses) of georgias natal chart and is gearing up for a transit over the the natal 8th house moon/saturn conjunction which is sure to be a challenging dynamic just going on the pluto transit.. at the same time saturn transit continues to move up towards the midheaven which i view as a positive.. there are some other positives for georgia, if this natal chart works... jupiter in cancer in a 13 degree conjunction to the ascendant would seem positive, as is the trine to the sun by whole sign houses as well..

i thought i would revisit this topic of georgia given that it is in the news of late with the recent elections and win by the georgia dream party which some politicians or powers have questioned... first off here is a very good overview on this as i see it written today..

in revisiting my commentary, i was scratching my head over the ruler of the profection year in the 10th... bear in mind i am using sidereal zodiac... here is a biwheel with the 1991 natal chart on the inside and the 2024 profections to the date of it's birthday - april 9th, 1991..



apparently it was a fairly divisive and polarizing election.. perhaps the present transits of mars opp pluto which happen to square onto the natal mercury in georgias chart have contributed to this?? below is a chart of the transits for today with the 1991 chart on the inside.. here is a wikipedia article on something i had never heard of before, but it seems to have fed into the results of this election - the global war party, which the new prime minister of georgia Irakli Kobakhidze seems to adhere to..

the president of georgia Salome Zourabichvili is a dual french and georgia citizen.. her chart is on astrodatabank and rated AA.

things have indeed gotten more carried away in the country georgia.. it seems the lady who was nominated as the president for a 6 year term which ends this december 29th, is unwilling to step down.. meanwhile one of those popular colour revolutions ( aka western style regime change in action) appears to have been activated... this means violent protests are referred to as peaceful protests and etc. etc.. the bbc has an article on this.. just remember bbc is another mouthpiece of this same empire building scheme.. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp878819l8wo if you scroll down to the 3rd video on this link you will see what ''peaceful'' protests look like...

the sidereal chart has scorpio rising with it's ruler mars in libra in the 12th house.. you have to read the wikipedia page on her to get a wider perspective on her background.. she was born and grew up in france to a family that lived in exile. ( Salome Zourabichvili was born into a family of Georgian emigrants that fled to France following the 1921 Red Army invasion of the Democratic Republic of Georgia)

a few astrological comments here... i have learned of how the idea of living in a foreign country - her situation at present - is often indicated by 12th house type planets.. this is an indian astrology thing and i haven't read about it so much in western astrology circles... her mars as ruler of the ascendant and in the 12th might account for some of this... this placement might also account for the type of work she does, which is essentially undercover and subterfuge.. perhaps others see it differently, but again, if you read the wikipedia overview on the lady you see connections to interesting people in high places who have been very influential in foreign policy matters.. ( She joined Columbia University in 1972–1973 where Zbigniew Brzezinski, at the time director of the Trilateral Commission, trained her on Soviet politics and Cold War diplomacy.)

moon rising in charts is associated with those having a personal touch that is appealing to the public..not sure if that can be said about moon in scorpio types, but in this chart the moon aligns favourably with the mercury/jupiter conjunction in pisces in the 5th whole sign house too which strengthens this moon placement.. moon rising shows up more frequently in politicians charts according to the french couples exhaustive research efforts..

i see that the mars position is further complicated by a square to pluto.. she has said she refuses to step down from her position when her term expires december 29th 2024... i am most curious about whether it is possible to predict an outcome for her here in regards her willful desire to alter things on the ground in georgia..

i will say from reading her bio on wikipedia that mercury/jupiter in the 5th and her educational background dovetail astrologically... the idea in indian astrology is a strong 5th house ruler - wsh) implies a sharp mind in itself... maybe offset some with mercury in pisces, but maybe not...

lets look at the solar return chart for 2024 which is shown immediately below to her birth location - paris..



again we see moon rising in the chart, but in this case it is rising in the 8th house of the natal chart, along with the ascendant - gemini... this suggests some of the difficulty she is presently working thru here with both ascendant and moon landing in the 8th whole sign house of her natal chart.. venus and saturn are close to the midheaven here.. venus is actually about 1 degree off the midheaven and rules the 12th which again raises the focus on 12th house matters...saturn rules the 8/9 whole sign houses..

the profection year is scorpio rising which is the same as her chart, so an important year for her and draws attention to the ruler of the ascendant again - mars.. mars in the solar return lands in the 9th house, also in the area of the midheaven.... solar return mars lands in the 4th whole sign house of her natal chart and also squares onto her ascendant in her natal chart...

i would venture to say that she will be removed from her role as president when the term expires dec 29th, 2024 and her role as representative for georgia or voice for continued hostility towards the democratic process taking place in georgia will cease to continue.... tough call... we'll see soon enough.. i could be wrong..
