OK, that's interesting and I think it might explain the "bad" receptions. The premise of the question concerned selling the property in order to progress the relationship. Since the relationship has broken down, I think that explains all the apparent negatives.. and an opposition says "yes, but it won't be worth it in the end"... or in this case yes, but not for the purpose you intended.

Well, it's with hindsight, which is why it's so useful to get updates, thank you!

The trouble is, if a querent comes to you with a question about selling a house, and you start telling them that actually their relationship is going to break down then you won't be very popular! And you probably aren't following horary rules and sticking to the specific question. Tricky : )
