25 by Rookie So Tanit was spot on once again. I phone interviewed with the company yesterday and indeed the company is in distress. They are looking for a leader to help in turn around efforts. I have done turnaround work before and knowing up front the situation makes the situation not so scary. At least there will be no surprises. I am going to ask about the new job in another thread Quote Wed Jun 20, 2018 6:28 pm

This is a moot point considering the date is incorrect, but just something to watch out for - I think a lot of people struggle at reading degrees and aspects. I was reading Rookie's old post and realized that what I said at the time was not clear at all. I wrote: "I think Moon is not VOC because once Moon changes sign, it will aspect to Mars". Then today I looked at the above chart that Rookie posted, and my immediate reaction was "what!? How could I make such a mistake" . . . well, it took me a while to recall that he had posted the wrong chart, and according to the correct chart, the position of the Moon was at the time 27*05 in Scorpio (not 9*27 Sagittarius) and it would aspect Mars upon the entry to Sagittarius. So what happened back then was that as soon as I noticed the wrong date, I went ahead and made the correct chart and that was what I was referring to back then. Folks, sorry about the confusion! I know this is an old post but now reading it again and realizing my clumsy reply, it bothered me to leave it as it was. So I went back and edited my original post. (I wonder if this is a Mercury Rx sort of thing?) By the way, Rookie, what is the latest at your work situation . . . would you like to share with us? Quote Thu Aug 02, 2018 1:29 am
27 by Rookie Sure I can update. I am still employed with the company although it is tough to come to work every day. I feel like I am on trial every day, not that I am under performing personally, but rather the company is loosing money monthly and is under a microscope. I continue to look but what I am looking for is highly specialized so opportunities are few. If this is appropriate, I would like to pose a query to those willing to consider it. "Is there a new employment opportunity in the near future for me?" Query posed 9:09 est, Dillon, SC USA Quote Thu Aug 02, 2018 1:11 pm

30 by Part of Fortune Rookie, I made the chart for you but as a forum rule, you have to do your own interpretation first. http://tinypic.com/r/2uh0kyt/9 With outer planets: http://tinypic.com/r/6jocxd/9 Quote Thu Aug 02, 2018 6:01 pm

32 by Tanit3333 If the Mercury-Mars trine out of sign is an indication of leaving, it is 5 degrees, so one might expect it to be 5 months (or years). Maybe November - If not, it could be a while. If the company is losing money and could potentially collapse and you are not happy there, it makes sense without astrology to keep looking for work elsewhere (as long as it is a better situation), though. One of my sisters would ask me about her work and her significator was often fixed, and she worked in a job she hated for 14 years. She often insisted she was leaving or was about to be fired, but she left about 10 years later. I remember Deb published a horary of mine on this and my sister was Mercury in Taurus. If someone is about to leave a situation, generally you see more cardinal influences. The only thing showing possibility of change is the late degree placement of the ascendant ruler. You may notice in the second chart that Mercury is again fixed. If the company is going to continue to lose money indefinitely, it seems odd to me that the significator would be fixed. Just my two cents. Quote Fri Aug 03, 2018 9:55 am
33 by Rookie Thanks Tanit. My company is a manufacturing business and is a small part of a major international business. I don't think the fact it is loosing money is an indication that it will close. I only mention it because being in finance with the plant and the plant loosing money, I am under a lot of stress and pressure to show favorable results when the plant is loosing money. 34 by Rookie So here is what I see. L1 Virgo ruled by Merc as well is L10 Gemini, So I get the moon as my significator. L10 is fixed, retrograde, in the 12th so i think this describes my internal struggle with an employer that is loosing money and the pressure is intense to right the ship. Moon in the 8th shows fear and anguish of mind according to Lilly, again backing up what L10 is suggesting. L10 in a fixed sign suggests nothing will change with the question, so I am thinking I am just really stressed out for nothing Quote Sat Aug 04, 2018 7:30 pm

L10 in a fixed sign suggests nothing will change with the question, so I am thinking I am just really stressed out for nothing Since Mercury is taken as your current job situation and the Moon is taken as querent's significator, I would like to try a different method. According to McEvers, your new employment opportunity is signified by the Moon, the lord of 11th (6th from 6th) and you are Mercury. So the situation will be that the Moon will trine Mercury before Mercury combust the Sun. There might be some chance of a new employer in the future, but will you get the new job and how soon? We have to look for the overall condition of the Moon, Mercury and the Sun who is also placed in 11th. The Moon is peregrine and placed in an unfortunate house and disposited by Mars Rx (one of the natural rulers of 8th). Mars in a fixed sign, the Sun separated from Mars. The Moon is in a movable sign and also separated from the Sun (I don’t know what these separations from the Sun signify). Your significator Mercury is disposited by the Sun as well as peregrine. Retrograde Mercury could mean revisit or delayed (or both. . . I am wondering about the company you interviewed back in June; could this be showing up here?). Anyway, as I said earlier there might be some job offer (in a few months or sooner, maybe?) but Sun might block you from getting it or if you accept it, possibly you will be burned out. So be patient with the current job (Saturn Rx – you are an employee) and make the best you can of it. Quote Sun Aug 05, 2018 11:59 pm
