Re: Astrological Speculation Group 37 by Ouranos Reading a diurnal: 1st level If we look at my diurnal chart, we can see that SU/PL is squaring my natal Moon on the diurnal 8th. One could describe it as a transformation, a change in my glandular system. And it goes against the principle of a lucky day because of the square. Meanwhile, the 6 star-points of my natal 2nd House cusp says Yes, go for it with multiple planets connected to it by opposition, trines and sextiles. 2nd level That's when the natal and transiting planets kick in. It becomes lucky because of the natal MO=VE/JU being hit by the combo SU/PL. Should you find a lucky midpoint (think Jupiter) there, that's when the hard aspect transform itself into a lucky action. Somehow, the conundrum finds a resolution. That's like a second level revealing the true nature of the hard aspects. No matter the expertise I have gained over the years by looking at my chart, I remain skeptical and surprised all the time. My approach has always been like a cat to test the water first. Because you may be facing a planetary influence that you have overlooked or that you are unaware of. Many years ago, I had a day when 4 or 5 planets were all colliding on my natal MA/JU midpoint by 45 and 22 1/2 degrees. I knew this was going to be a success without any doubt. The confidence of MA/JU. Otherwise, I let the sky do its job. Blessings! Quote Wed Feb 12, 2025 4:19 pm
Re: Astrological Speculation Group 38 by sandysand Dear Ouranos, Thank you for taking the time to look at that chart. My approach was to find a way to leverage that T-square. In my chart, as mentioned before, I have a flowing aspect, a trine, between the cusp of the 2nd, VE (it's ruler) and NE (chart rule). So, I figured, I should also find flowing aspects with the T-square chart. However, I see now that the T-square is both a source of struggle and a source of strength. Personally, I am not familiar with T-squares as my chart is very lazy, mostly sextiles and trines. The T-square person is someone who likes to gamble and he is 100% certain, as he told me, that one day he will get that big lottery win. When he told me that, what I felt there was not wishful thinking, it was a matter of fact. I am not familiar with where he gets the money from, but I do know that he works a lot and he has inherited a lot, unfortunately, when he was younger. I apologize for taking this long to answer. The T-square chart has so many sensitive points that I was actually getting lost. So, I wrote down all the sensitive points, logged all the major aspects to each one of them for this year, and then made a pivot table to see which dates repeat - a part of it is attached below. I still have to sort through those dates to find 2+ planets that are making a hard aspect to a specific point or when there are multiple points activated. I guess the easy part is more or less done, but the difficult part is actually working with all the data that I have. Thank you once more for taking the time to help me out with this one! You know, these days there is a window of a couple of minutes when I win a jackpot every time I play. Not a huge amount but it's $$. It always happens when trASC goes over 11° Scorpio which is n8=VE/NE in my chart. VE = ruler of my n2 and NE ruler of my n1. For days it bugged me how come I always win a jackpot at that moment. No way that one cusp is that sensitive. Well, well, well. trJU (on the cusp of 8th in the event chart) is currently squaring my nVE. On top of that, trASC/trJU midpoint conjuncts my MO, ruler of my 5th, and directly opposes my Lot of Spirit at 26° Aquarius. There must be something else here, I can feel it - there is some kind of a perception filter at play, but I am blind behind my eyes. One of these days it will hit me. Re: Astrological Speculation Group 40 by Ouranos Sandysand, I will answer your 2nd post and later for the 1st one. And I have attached a fictitious 45 Wheel to provide an example. Let's take the example wheel as being the natal and transiting midpoints. When you have transiting Jupiter squaring natal Venus, this is very good. The whole 45 Wheel becomes your playground. Natal Wheel tr Jupiter hitting your natal Venus, you want to look when tr JU/AS and JU/MC will hit 1) Natal VE or a natal VE midpoint with VE/JU midpoint being the best one. In the example chart, we see at 38 degrees that the natal VE/JU is in the same midpoint as SA/NE. Will you play on it? No, because of SA/NE not in favor of winning in your chart. At 12-13 degrees you have VE/MC with SU/MO just behind. Very good! 2) A powerful area in your chart You see that around 8-9 degrees you have a conjunction UR and SU and the midpoint. 3) Check Angularity of planets and the AS, MC and A/M midpoint as it will increase the price. Transiting Wheel Repeat the same process with the transiting wheel and in this one you will focus on the Jupiter midpoints and power areas. For example, you may find a MA/JU conjunction, opposition or square in the sky which will show up as a conjunction on the 45 Wheel. Semi-squares and sesqui-quadrates will appear 22 degrees 1/2 behind or above. With practice, you will get better knowing your own chart and be able to identify the power areas. If you find a natal and transiting midpoint in conjunction (5'orb) that will also increase the price. You can make a query with Solar Fire to get the time when the JU/AS or JU/MC will hit these points, both natal and transiting. These midpoints Planet/AS and Planet/MC travel about 7 degrees per hour. If you have lets's say MA squaring your SU, use the midpoints MA/AS and MA/MC and so on for all the planets. The only difference here is that you will focus on the JU midpoints on the wheel if the transit is different than a JU transit. For if MA/AS hits a power area in your chart where you have a conjunction ME/MA, you may end up having an argument with someone else instead of winning. Hope, this is helpful, Ouranos Blessings! Re: Astrological Speculation Group 41 by Ouranos Random thoughts 1) Why use the 45 Wheel? Because it seems to be the one revealing the 'activity' between the planets because it incorporates all hard aspects. You could also look at the hard aspects on the 90, 180 and 360 wheel and it would work. The 22 1/2 Wheel also works but it requires much tighter orbs and it would be relevant in cases where you would have a lot of semi-octiles in the sky. I would like to experiment a Wheel with other aspects like the septile and the quintile but I would need a program and more data. 2) Every day, the 45 Wheel is different. An example. If you have Mars square Saturn in the sky, you will notice that the midpoints AS/MA and AS/SA are following each other. Should you find MA or SA aspecting your chart, this will create frustration, like a stop and go in your activity. 3) Always check the midpoints AS/SA MC/SA AS/NE MC/NE for sometimes they will travel over a lucky position and can deny a good opportunity. Once I had calculated a very good position crossing the MC but the midpoint AS/SA or MC/SA was also there, can't remember which one. And when I came to play in a bar, all the machines were taken. The whole idea to use the Planets/AS and Planets/MC came up to me on a day that I won a jackpot when Neptune was = AS A/M and MC. I knew then to look somewhere else. I was both confused and enlightened by Neptune so to speak. 4) The orb Midpoint to midpoint gives good results within 5 minutes of orb. 1 degree for the diurnal. Planet to planet gives good results also within 5 minutes of orb but is it 10 minutes, 15 minutes? One thing I know for sure is that the closer the better for the amount to win. Let's say you check an activation JU/MC over a power area, you will get a range of about 7 to 8 minutes in time to play (that's the average time the midpoint comes within 1 degree orb). What I do is then look at the chart and fine tune it with other elements like when the planet hits an angle or an intermediate house cusp or when the Part of Fortune or Spirit becomes exact to the combination or when it reaches the A/M midpoint. Basically, you assemble the elements like a puzzle. 5) The diurnals will help you point to a day to search. And the aspects will provide a timeframe. But I need a program that would calculate instantly all this with the midpoints and highlight when during the day. I know it is feasible and eventually with AI (the next generation of astrology programs), it will become click-click and let's go. 6) Saturn is not always bad. It can show up when hit by soft aspects as a general of organization and a good preparation. I won some jackpots when my diurnal was conjunct Saturn. Neptune also can show up in the confusion. Sept 2021, Mars, Pluto, Neptune, Moon all connected to my 2nd House cusp and my diurnal AS ruler Mercury (natal and diurnal 2nd) in a grand trine with Saturn and the Nodes and the Sun sextile my natal ME. So when Saturn and Neptune are showing up with a bunch of planets, they can express a different nature. 7) I can reiterate that if you have a slow planet stationing in conjunction, opposition, sextile or trine to your natal or diurnal 2nd House cusp then you can search the aspects to that planet. Same with a planet stationing. 8 ) In her book, Sophia Mason says 'only exact aspects are allowed' and that it a good reminder, the closer the better. Re: Astrological Speculation Group 42 by Ouranos Sandysand, For the T-square chart you have posted, I have highlighted his SU, MA, PL, the related midpoints and MO/JU (bi-quintile) which is also found in the midpoint axis. First, if you look on the 45 Wheel, you will notice that SU, MA, PL are all conjunct. What you want to search is when 2 transiting planets and related midpoint are found by hard aspect at the same place on the Wheel. With the bi-quintile MO-JU, this aspect often brings a sense of "lucky intuition," where the individual might instinctively know how to expand emotionally or spiritually, often bringing good fortune or positive outcomes in their life without necessarily trying hard to do so. There is likely a creative, idealistic side to this placement, where emotional and intellectual expansion come together in a unique and intuitive way. He also has Admetos = MO/JU showing restful and happy hours in a small circle of people. You will also notice that all these midpoints fall at the Vernal Point (in the world), so the possibility of winning a large sum is very possible. Look for hard aspects to the midpoint also. Second, it is essential for him to find an outlet through physical exercice, martial arts would be a good fit, diet and sleeping habits. Third, the soft aspects to his natal or diurnal 2nd House can add a confirmation. You will notice that the 6 star-point will happen in Earth/Water or Fire/Air Signs. More to investigate. Fourth, the odds by transit are not the best right now as Neptune is on the Aries Point triggering his planets and will soon be reached by Saturn. He can expect some kind of disease or a period of inactivity. Good luck, Ouranos Blessings! Quote Thu Feb 13, 2025 1:58 pm
Re: Astrological Speculation Group 43 by sandysand Dear Ouranos, For now, I have only relayed on transits because diurnals are not that promising and that's okay. You can't have lucky diurnals and transits every day. When it comes to nVE and trJU square, for those times when I could test transits - there is a small window of opportunity, but if it's a lucky point, I regularly win something. It's not much, no more than $$ - it's still something. I usually start testing 1° before and after. Calculating midpoints is really a pain in the ass without proper tools. I use A/B Middle Point Online Calculator on Astro-Seek. When I have a potential lucky time, I generate all the midpoints on Astro.com and compare. I am also waiting for some kind of a AI tool that will make calculating midpoints easier. So far, I haven't found anything. ChatGPT and Gemini are of no help. I do use AI for other stuff and there's something new coming out every day (for music, text-to-speech, ...) and I am hoping that something astrology-related will come out as well. If I could pinpoint specific degrees / points and then have them properly listed when multiple planets will be making a hard aspect to that point or a list of how planet/ASC midpoints move throughout the day, among other things - that would be great. I am wasting so much time making pivot tables and calculating by myself - sometimes a miss something or I miscalculate. Not to mention calculating minor aspects to specific points. It's easy to get lost. For the T-square chart, I am done logging all the aspects that planets are making to the sensitive points. I'll focus on diurnals and check the transits. Thank you for all your input. I don't know how to describe you how much valuable your insight is. In the meantime, I am practicing on my own chart. This midpoint bomb that you dropped really made me get to know my chart better, just so you know. Later I will talk to you about Saturn and Neptune. Have a great day, Sandysand Quote Sat Feb 15, 2025 4:57 pm
Re: Astrological Speculation Group 44 by sandysand Dear Ouranos, I am glad that you mentioned Saturn and Neptune, especially that now they are kind of dancing with each other. One time you mentioned that an opposition can be resolved by soft aspects like trines and sextile. My first question is - would the same apply to a SA/NE midpoint? Meaning, if a SA/NE midpoint is making an opposition to an important part of a diurnal but is also making sextiles, would that situation mitigate potentially undermining circumstance that SA/NE brings? My second question - if Saturn and Neptune express different nature when they are with bunch of other planets, does it apply to their midpoints as well - meaning, SA and NE midpoints going over a specific spot with other midpoints as well may not be as tricky as they are when they are alone? Re: Astrological Speculation Group 45 by Ouranos For now, I have only relayed on transits because diurnals are not that promising and that's okay. You can't have lucky diurnals and transits every day. An easy way to start up is to take up your natal and look up at 1) The diurnal 1st and 2nd/8th Houses and see if they connect with your natal or diurnal chart. 2) Check the transiting planets to your natal and mundane aspects from the tables you have worked on. 1° Orb. 3) See if a transit hits a connection point. For example, the diurnal 2nd House is making a trine to Jupiter. Does Jupiter receives an aspect during the day? Is Jupiter connected to your natal in some way? When it comes to nVE and trJU square, for those times when I could test transits - there is a small window of opportunity, but if it's a lucky point, I regularly win something. It's not much, no more than $$ - it's still something. I usually start testing 1° before and after. You will get best results when the aspect is close to exact. Calculating midpoints is really a pain in the ass without proper tools. I use A/B Middle Point Online Calculator on Astro-Seek. When I have a potential lucky time, I generate all the midpoints on Astro.com Maybe you can consider Planetdance, a free software https://www.jcremers.com/ It has a section Cosmobiology which can be helpful. I prefer Solar Fire which generates not only the midpoints but the planets in sequence in different Wheel formats and Reports. Generally, I would say no. But Cosmobiology and Uranian astrology have not investigated or brought a differentiation in this matter and more research is needed. A midpoint all starts with a division by 2 and further goes with the hard aspects series 4/8/16/32 and so on. But technically, if you divide a sextile 60° by 2, you get 30° as opposed to dividing a square 90°, you get 45°, which stays in the same hard aspects family. Michael Harding has brought this concern which could be adressed if we understood more the Harmonics revealed by Kepler. My second question - if Saturn and Neptune express different nature when they are with bunch of other planets, does it apply to their midpoints as well - meaning, SA and NE midpoints going over a specific spot with other midpoints as well may not be as tricky as they are when they are alone? There is a difference between a midpoint and an aspect. A midpoint is a midpoint and synthesize the nature of the 2 planets together. When you have a planet in the midpoint SA/NE, it is like having the 2 planets conjunct your planet. Let's say you have a trine VE/NE, the midpoint will represents ease, natural flow and a smooth integration of energies but this might not be as problematic as having VE/NE in square with tension, difficulty or facing obstacles and adjustments. In my chart, I have the SU in the midpoint JU/NE (septile aspect) and I always felt a sense of a higher calling tied to humanitarian and spiritual ideals guided by intuition or a belief in something greater than the material world. I also have the SU in the midpoint JU/UR (conjunction) and I have always embraced change while pursuing growth and personal freedom and willing to take risks. The septile and the conjunction are not harmful and my SU has provided some meaningful wins but every chart is different and needs to be confirmed by the person itself. When you look at the 45° Wheel on a specific day, pay special attention to the planets in conjunctions (meaning you will see what planets are in hard aspects by conjunction, opposition, square, semi-square and sesqui-quadrate). These are the power areas that are most likely to manifest. And if you find a power area connecting to a power area in your chart or a lucky midpoint, this is worth investigating more closely. Orb 5 minutes. And try to avoid Saturn and Neptune making hard aspects to other planets. Ouranos Blessings! Quote Sun Feb 16, 2025 3:59 am
Re: Astrological Speculation Group 46 by Ouranos Power areas for winning (45 Wheel) Planets in conjunction in the 45 Wheel create power areas. Could be more planets. I start considering conjunctions when planets are around 3 degrees on the Wheel. Then you adjust the midpoint when it enters an orb of 5 minutes to your natal midpoint. 1) A transiting planet conjunct JU over a natal JU midpoint or JU. Ex: VE/JU over MA/JU 2) A transiting planet conjunct JU over a natal personal point. Ex: VE/JU over SU/MO or VE/JU = SU 3) A transiting planet conjunct another planet over a JU midpoint or JU. Ex: ME/MA over VE/JU or ME/MA = JU 4) A transiting planet conjunct another planet over a natal personal point. Ex: VE/MA over SU/ME In this case, find out if you can have JU/AS or JU/MC connected to this point at the same time. 5) Another possibility is to have 2 transiting planets not together on the wheel but aspecting 2 different natal planets. You then adjust the midpoint of the transiting planets to the natal midpoint (5min orb). I cannot list all the possibilities, every chart is different but you get the idea. The activation will come from the AS, MC, A/M, Planets/AS, Planets/MC and to a lesser extent from the intermediate House cusps. The Part of Fortune and the Part of Spirit are like House cusps. For Planets/AS and Planets/MC, you want to give the priority to planets 1) In hard aspect to a natal planet. Say 10 minutes but I don't have a clear stance on this, other variables can be brought. 2) An Angular planet. 3) JU/AS and JU/MC Ouranos Last edited by Ouranos on Thu Feb 20, 2025 11:37 am, edited 1 time in total. Re: Astrological Speculation Group 48 by sandysand Dear Ouranos, So, basically, there is no way of softening, escaping or bargaining with SA/NE. Now watch me do just that (and fail miserably)! I downloaded Planetdance, thanks. I'll check it out! I was scouting the web for something else, a different kind of a midpoint tool, but there's still nothing that would do all the things that I want it to do. You shed a different light to midpoints, minor aspects and general relationships between those - it's like looking at the chart through a microscope, there is a whole another (micro)biome under what we can see at first. I'll be honest that I didn't pay much attention to some minor aspects, at least not in this sense. Hopefully I can utilize all of this. With time, of course! Thank you for answering my questions! I will write when I start winning Sincerely, Sand Quote Sun Feb 23, 2025 12:16 am
