I am looking at his natal 22.5 degree aspect between his rising IsisTranspluto and first house Mars. His Solar Arc progressed Ascendant would have been applying one degree to a conjunction with Mars around the age of 20. I think Mars has a lot to do with all kinds of artistic talent, the Duende.

This is slightly separate but maybe affected by the very powerful pattern of Pluto and Neptune both aspecting his Ascendant by 22.5 degree aspects with antiscia.

The antiscion of his Venus is 3 degrees Leo 54 minutes and the antiscion of his Mercury is 4 degrees Leo 43 minutes, which both square his Midheaven at 3 degrees Taurus 21 minutes. Venus and Mercury are also in the tenth house of career. Transiting Uranus has crossed his Midheaven, which of course represents reputation and career.

What he is currently going through seems to be to do with Jupiter in the ninth house squaring his Moon. Its beginnings were maybe to do with Uranus in Taurus especially in January 2020 with the Uranus Neptune transit to this part of his chart, as transiting Neptune was 16.5 degrees Pisces, antiscion 13.5 degrees Libra. I think, but can't be sure this is just my guess, that currently we have Chiron Neptune, which goes the other way and could be beneficial for Johnny Depp, closing his Moon and its aspecting Jupiter, and Moons are usually closed and need to be closed. The Moon is generally agreed to represent the wife in a man's chart. His natal Phaethon is 0 degrees Virgo, so not aspecting his Sun or Moon, which might make the Moon open, so yes his Moon is closed and should respond well to a Chiron Neptune transit (Chiron activates Neptune, Uranus went against it). I need to study this aspect of his chart more, as his Moon at 13 degrees Capricorn 49 minutes aspects 45 degrees to 28 degrees Scorpio 49 minutes, and his Jupiter at 13 degrees Aries 59 minutes aspects 45 degrees to 28 degrees Aquarius 59 minutes, which is getting close to aspecting his Phaethon at around 0 degrees Virgo, which I had to estimate from the Phaethon ephemeris as the first of June 1963 it is 28 degrees Leo 26 minutes and the first of July 1963 it is degrees 7 Virgo 39 minutes, and moving more slowly than normally as it stationed to go direct in April 1963. Only be correlating other events in his life can I be sure if his Moon is open or closed, but I also suspect that it is only Phaethon aspecting the natal Sun, not Moon, that turns the Moon from its normal closed to open.

Phaethon at 0 degrees Virgo, or even slightly more, in the first house close to Uranus and Mars does seem to describe his high flying life. Anyone good at maths that can get a very accurate position for his natal Phaethon, taking into account its changing speed after a station?

His Solar Arc progressed Descendant is only at about 9.5 degrees Aries, which if his birth time is indeed accurate suggests a further development of this issue in about four years' time when it reaches the conjunction with his ninth house Jupiter, or this could indicate something different entirely, it might show him getting into higher education or other ninth house matter.

His Sun's antiscion is 12 degrees Cancer, widely opposition his Moon and widely squaring his ninth house Jupiter.

I am not sure about Algol, but I think it affects both Johnny Depp's chart and Amber Heard's. Amber Heard, born April 22nd 1986, no birth time known, Venus 25 degrees Taurus 03 minutes, Pluto 6 degrees Scorpio 04 minutes antiscion 23 degrees Leo 56 minutes, Sun 2 degrees Taurus 18 minutes antiscion 27 degrees Leo 42 minutes.

I just looked up Algol, it said it is currently at 26 degrees Taurus, so yes it is conjunct Johnny Depp's Venus and Mercury, and squares the antiscion of his Midheaven.

Johnny Depp has a lot of antiscia, of Pluto, Mars, Uranus and Phaethon, from Virgo in Aries in his ninth house, which of course rules higher court cases, as well as Jupiter being in his ninth house, so I need to comb through how those could be affecting him.

If we admit Uranus as modern ruler of Aquarius at DC then Uranus-Mars conjunction pretty much explain aggressive female partners like Amber Heard, otherwise only retro Saturn in domicile, should be some old bores, marriage for money or etc...
Also Saturn square Mercury-Venus would create financial problems alone with Mars at 2nd cusp but he's making a lot of money...
