here we have another chart of an important world figure with neptune-jupiter conjunct the nodal axis.. one could say it is more relevant to the jupiter as the nodal axis is applying to jupiter and moving away from neptune.. and again we have mars rising in the first house area - like kissingers chart, but in this set up mars is in an approx 7 degree conjunction with jupiter - so a mars-jupiter rising, sort of... but in this chart mars is rising in a nocturnal birth and rules the 3/8 houses, so a bit of a trouble maker is what i get from this.. maybe less so given the nice trine from saturn to mars... but just as important - perhaps more - is the last quarter sun/moon relationship here... sun rules the 12th, while moon rules the 11th, while the sun is in the 3rd and the moon is in the 12th whs ( whole sign houses).. there is a t square in this chart with uranus at the top.. that is a mercury opposite pluto with uranus at the top...

in trying to understand a historical person, i suppose it helps to appreciate the times they were living in and the cultural backdrop that would have shaped the views and positions on any number of topics.. in this regard, i am not sure how to untangle that astrologically.. i would start with the outer planets as generational indicators.. what was the thinking of the times? in churchills case, having mercury in the t square with uranus-pluto square is quite relevant... he could have been the voice for a generation living in a turbulent time... if you are interested in some of the insights i gleamed from listening to the interview by the blogging theology fellow on churchill, or even more interested - consider getting a copy of the book.. you can buy it as an e book for 4$..

interesting that the chart is sort of like a seesaw chart with the outers in the upper hemisphere and the personal planets with jupiter and saturn in the lower hemisphere... what do others make of this? i like these planetary patterns that marc edmund jones was responsible for.. not sure if it qualifies as a see saw chart, or not - but i think so..
