Hi everyone,
Do you use non Aries ingress charts?

I mean, we all use the Aries ingress chart, and some of us also use the other beginning of the season ingress charts (like Cancer, Libra and Cap).
But, do any of you use say a Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto or some other ingress chart?

I'm also interested if any astrologers of note (past or present) have used those? To the best of your knowledge.

The ingress of any planet into a new sign is of significance, the general principle is that the more substantial the planetary cycle (the slower the motion), the more we should take note of the ingress. I recall the ingress of Saturn into Aries is noted as one to be aware of - this is said to prenote the fall of kings, based on it being a major ingress, where (in traditional terms) the most superior planet enters its sign of debility.
However, none of these (including the ingress of Mars) are comparable to the Sun's ingress into Aries. This is a major annual event because it is the Sun's return to the ecliptic, so it represents the commencement moment of the new astrological year. No other planet's ingress into Aries is given the same level of significance that the Sun's ingress into Aries holds.

I do wonder though.
Anyone on the forum is familiar with a traditional source, or maybe a 19th century/ first half of 20th century source, which uses a non-Aries ingress, as an inaugural chart for something? Say a Saturn ingress into Aries as symbolic of the next 28-29 years, or a Neptune ingress into a sign as symbolic of the next 14-15 years.

If I recall correctly, traditional authorities used to embed great conjunctions symbolism (jup-sat) into the Aries ingress which happened prior to that great conjunction. This bit of info is from Ben Dykes Astrology of the World Vol-II, if my memory serves me right.
So maybe even with outer planet ingresses, we should use the Aries ingress chart which came before it.
