In April 2025, Antoni Gaudi has been decreed "venerable" in recognition of his "heroic virtues, the next step on the path to Catholic sainhood. It is the final process towards beatification.
When he was hit by a tram in June 1926, his humble clothing meant he was initially mistaken for a homeless person and taken to a pauper’s hospital. Three days later he died, surrounded by loved ones, and his final words were “Amen. My God! My God!”
His Solar Arc ASC had reached JU in Sco L8 in opposition to SA in Tau. And Solar Arc MA was sesqui-quadrate his natal SU in Cancer.

According to his biographer, Isidre Puig Boada, Gaudí is reported to have said: “Due to my poor health, I often had to abstain from playing with my peers, which fostered my spirit of observation.” This is the SA/NE signature.

Another interesting observation is the asteroid 'Gaudi' which was exactly conjunct his natal SU when he was born. Gaudi is the architect behind the Sagrada Familia ("Holy Family) in Barcelona, a good fit for a Sun in Cancer.

Barcelona's iconic Sagrada Familia is set to be completed in 2026, after 142 years of construction. Officials have confirmed that the Tower of the Virgin Mary will be finished in 2025, and the Tower of Jesus Christ, reaching 172.5 meters, will be completed in 2026.
This will be interesting to watch as JU entering Cancer is approaching his natal SU/NN.
