i wonder how many ceasefires take place under sun-jupiter conjunctions?? this is sun applying to jupiter... this concept of ''under the beams'' rears it's head... or will ''cazimi'' save it, lol? isn't a planet supposed to be ineffective when it is ''under the beams''?? maybe someone would like to explain that to me as it has always mystified me... if indeed the ceasefire holds, that would be a positive thing - very jupiterian in fact!

some folks might have to eat cake if indeed trump has been successful in getting this ceasefire..

Hi James ... burnt or cazimi, think we also need to consider the partile inconjunct ("things fall apart") from Pluto at 3 Aquarius ... so not convinced any coerced ceasefire will stand.

Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. I think that could go a long way toward countering "under the beams" (if that's even a real thing).

yes - sun to pluto 150 as jane points out... there are a number of 150 - quincunx aspects to the chart.. in fact the pattern with 2 planets in sextile with a planet at the top is called a 'finger of god', but that is modern astrology, heaven forbid! one sees pluto at the top of the sextile between mars and sun/jupiter... one also notes mars at the top of the triangle with pluto and saturn/neptune.. lots of angst to process i suppose..

keeping in mind whether the chart has great merit or not - here are some observations on some of the midpoints to this chart..

moon is at jupiter-uranus midpoint - a midpoint i consider very favourable...
pluto is at sun -mars midpoint and jupiter-mars midpoint since sun and jupiter are essentially at the same spot..
venus is at the mars-pluto midpoint... this is also very positive on it's own as i think it changes the hostility pent up in the mars-pluto energies..
mars is at the jupiter-pluto midpoint ( by 135).. again a very positive midpoint as i see it..

there are probably some other midpoints that i am missing here, but these are all favourable as i see it... much of this hinges on the sun-jupiter conjunction as well.. perhaps the final phase of the moon is also helpful here, as it is a time of endings and motivates others to resolve the conflicts of the past and get ready to move forward in a positive sense...

maybe i am reading too much positive into it..

This didn't last that long btw. You also have to take into account that Jupiter is still squaring Saturn-Neptune in Aries. This is more of a too good to be true case.

there is obviously a lot more to say astrologically on this chart, but the idea that the sun-jupiter conjunction could over ride a lot of other considerations is an interesting idea to ponder..

i think the bottom line here is that idea of those who sign onto the NPT as having some assurance of safety has been shattered by the israel and usa attack on iran.. at this point, why would iran want to continue as part of this? as someone else articulated very well - "the West is exerting serious influence over the secretariats of international organizations (IAEA). In some cases, it’s as though they have been effectively privatized." the byproduct of this attack on iran is to make the world much less secure and peaceful moving forward..

Hi James ... thanks for your take on the mid-points; I have zero experience using them in any type of chart but, out of curiosity, checked them in Ebertin (natal I know) and they do seem to indicate that, at least in Trump's mind, he believed he was doing a good thing which the rumours that he's after a Noble Peace Prize would support, although the world appears to doubt he deserves it.

The Sun/Jupiter conjunction worries me a bit as exaltation usually indicates a sudden, high impact event [which it was], while a cardinal sign indicates actions that fade fast, and in Cancer, it would have a recurring nature and 'peace in the Middle East' has a long history. So while this particular 'peace' is new and unexpected I'm not optimistic it will be enduring.

Like you, I've seen numerous accounts of the world taking note and some speculation that maybe the US's military strength has been underestimated. It is interesting that Russia and China appear to be doing their best to keep quiet on the whole subject. Are they taking an optimistic view (Jupiter ruling 9th and co-ruling 12th) for the sake of expediency; hoping the US will eventually implode under Trump?

it would be easy for me to talk non astrological here and i am intent on not doing that.. i will say this though... what the western msm feeds it's main audience - us - and the reality - are very far apart.. my viewpoint is that george orwells experience at the bbc with propaganda was very clear, so much so, he wrote a number on this - 1984... none of this has changed.... it's gotten much worse.. any political,or military commentary on any of the major players on the world stage here is essentially off limits for me!

as far as whether this ceasefire will hold.. i don't think it will... it is more like a boxing match where the 2 or 3 fighters go back off the stage for a time out, until the next round.. so - i essentially agree with your take... just how long the ''time out'' will last here, is hard to know...

of course it is a fools game to speculate on trump, but everyone does it, including astrologers and me!! here is as much as i will say on this.. using sidereal zodiac for the 2025 solar return, the chart is primarily western hemisphere emphasis, so he has less control in matters, generally speaking.. the profection lord for him here is jupiter/pisces... pisces is on the 6th house cusp of the 2025 sr putting emphasis on the issue of his health... add to this the close square in the solar return of mars-uranus, which coincidentally is very close to his natal mars position, raises the question of something unexpected happening.. the idea of someone trying to assassinate trump or of him being removed from power - transit uranus in the 10th square this same rising mars - is very real... whether it happens or not - i have no idea.. whether health issues appear - again - hard to know.. maybe we can give the assignment of studying the primary directions in the proper manner, to someone who is knowledgeable on these matters, lol.. perhaps they have an answer to show the value of predictive astrology via pd's..
