The Astrological Lodge of London is hosting an afternoon to celebrate the life and work of Maurice McCann.
It will take place on Saturday 2 April at The Old Red Cow (upstairs function room) in Smithfield at 71 Long Lane, EC1A 9EJ from 2:30 pm ? 5:00 pm.
***This is open to anyone who wishes to attend. ***
(Those of you who are easily confused might want to know that the room is booked under my name ? simply ask the bar staff if you can?t work out what you?re doing ? I?ll be there early.)
If you would like to publically share your reminiscences of Maurice on the day, please let me know.
If you have a horror of speaking in public, or aren?t able to attend, we would appreciate it if you could send your thoughts and memories in writing. These will be placed in a memory book for attendees to browse through on the day (if you attend you can add to the book while you?re there) and later online. Please contact Claire Chandler regarding this at
claire@clairechandler.com. (Claire is away until 5 March so don?t worry if you don?t get an immediate response.)
We would also appreciate any photographs or information you can share which will contribute towards his biography that we will publish in the summer issue of Astrology Quarterly and also online. You can contact me direct about this ? and regarding any other questions or comments ? at
kim@kimfarnell.co.uk.

Although it isn?t essential, it would be helpful if you could notify me if you plan to attend so that we can have an idea of numbers. Although the formal event is scheduled to end by 5 pm, you can obviously retire to the bar downstairs or to another nearby watering hole ? there are dozens in the area ? if you want to carry on chatting.
Looking forward to seeing some of you there.
